- Advocate on matters relevant to Women’s Health including policy formulation.
- Provide guidance and technical expertise on Women’s Health.
- Direct, guide, coordinate and support the peripheral MCH Programme Managers on matters related to Women’s Health.
- Provide technical and managerial guidelines on Gender & Women’s Health.
- Capacity building
- Develop programme specific training materials.
- Forecast, estimate, procure, store & distribute equipment, chemicals and supplies for National Well Women Clinic Services & Cervical Cancer Screening Programme.
- Mobilize funds and other support from GOSL and international sources.
- Maintain surveillance systems with regards to Women’s Health.
- Establish and maintain partnerships.
