Rebel Wilson shared her complicated journey with Ozempic. The Australian actress told The Diary Of A CEO podcast host Steven Bartlett that she used the type 2 diabetes drug but only after shedding some weight on her own. She shed 36 kilos (80lbs) during her 'year of health' back in 2020, but says she did so without help from the trendy medication. Rebel, who lost 36 kgs in 2020, shared that she “experimented” with it briefly to maintain her progress after welcoming her baby daughter via surrogate in November 2022. “I wish I had known about it in 2020. If I had known about it, I would have tried it, one hundred percent. It was more for when I had lost, like, 35 kilos, I was like, I can't continue working out and having this level of focus. And I was very worried that the weight would come back on,” she added.
