The Planning & Development Unit compiles and monitors implementation of annual and medium plans for the Family Health Bureau, coordinating with district and provincial managers and aligning the work with Sustainable Development Goals and national health targets.

  • Compiling and monitoring implementation of annual and medium plans for Family Health Bureau.
  • Coordinating with district and provincial managers on plan development and donor-funded initiatives.
  • Achieving Sustainable Development Goals and national health targets.
  • Managing staff development for FHB personnel.
  • Human resource planning, including duty list revision and training curriculum advocacy.
  • Coordinating basic and postgraduate training with relevant agencies.
  • Directing disaster preparedness and response activities for reproductive and child health during emergencies.
  • Strengthening family health programme delivery at service provision points.
  • Advancing quality improvements in point-of-care service delivery.
  • Supporting community-based primary health care with emphasis on RMNCAYH service delivery.
